# Online Backgammon LiveGames vs PPNards

The clearest difference is monetization model: Online Backgammon LiveGames at free against PPNards's free with in-app purchases. PPNards's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (54% vs 45%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Online Backgammon LiveGames sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and PPNards sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
