# Glidden vs Mohawk GO

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Glidden at 534 against Mohawk GO's 8. Glidden also leads on review sentiment (64% vs 50%). Mohawk GO's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mohawk GO holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Glidden has 534 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Glidden's written reviews are positive against 50% of Mohawk GO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Glidden ships an update every 4 months, Mohawk GO monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
