# Focusing vs Focus Traveller

The clearest difference is rating: Focus Traveller at 4.9 against Focusing's 4.4. Focus Traveller also leads on ratings volume (3.9K vs 58). Focusing's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focusing sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Focus Traveller sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus Traveller holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Traveller has 3.9K ratings behind it against 58, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Focusing's written reviews are positive against 86% of Focus Traveller's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
