# HomeWizard Energy vs Duux

HomeWizard Energy and Duux both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of HomeWizard Energy's written reviews are positive against 30% of Duux's. HomeWizard Energy also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and ratings volume (94 vs 22). Duux's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HomeWizard Energy sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Duux asks for nothing beyond the download.

Duux holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 94 and 22 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of HomeWizard Energy's written reviews are positive against 30% of Duux's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HomeWizard Energy ships an update every 2 weeks, Duux monthly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
