# Lunar Pinball vs Visual Pinball

The clearest difference is rating: Lunar Pinball at 4.6 against Visual Pinball's 4.3. Lunar Pinball also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.6). Visual Pinball's advantage is ratings volume (74 vs 5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lunar Pinball holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Visual Pinball has 74 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Lunar Pinball's written reviews are positive against 79% of Visual Pinball's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lunar Pinball ships an update every 2 weeks, Visual Pinball fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
