# Co vs Instagig

The clearest difference is ads: Instagig at none against Co's shown. Instagig also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Co's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Co holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Co has 82 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Co's written reviews are positive against 100% of Instagig's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Co ships an update every 9 days, Instagig every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
