# Tetragram vs Local Leaf App

The clearest difference is rating: Local Leaf App at 4.8 against Tetragram's 4.3. Tetragram's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Local Leaf App holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 43 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Tetragram's written reviews are positive against 67% of Local Leaf App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tetragram ships an update every 5 weeks, Local Leaf App every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
