# Bed Diving vs Charlie's Run

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Charlie's Run at 100% against Bed Diving's 52%. Charlie's Run also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). Bed Diving's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Charlie's Run sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Bed Diving asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bed Diving holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bed Diving has 14K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Bed Diving's written reviews are positive against 100% of Charlie's Run's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bed Diving ships an update every 2 months, Charlie's Run every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
