# KeyConnect Digital Car Key vs Poolstar

The clearest difference is rating: KeyConnect Digital Car Key at 4.5 against Poolstar's 1.8. KeyConnect Digital Car Key also leads on ratings volume (93K vs 5) and chart position (#90 vs unranked). Poolstar's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. KeyConnect Digital Car Key sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Poolstar asks for nothing beyond the download.

KeyConnect Digital Car Key holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KeyConnect Digital Car Key has 93K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of KeyConnect Digital Car Key's written reviews are positive against 33% of Poolstar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
