# Smoothie master vs Good Slice

Smoothie master and Good Slice both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Smoothie master's written reviews are positive against 45% of Good Slice's. Smoothie master also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 14.0). Good Slice's advantage is ratings volume (107K vs 53) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smoothie master sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Good Slice sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Smoothie master against 4.6 for Good Slice. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Good Slice has 107K ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Smoothie master's written reviews are positive against 45% of Good Slice's.

Smoothie master ships an update every 2 weeks, Good Slice every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
