# Sms Planner E vs Fext

The clearest difference is rating: Sms Planner E at 4.9 against Fext's 4.0. Sms Planner E also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription). Fext's advantage is ratings volume (551 vs 8) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sms Planner E sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Fext sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sms Planner E holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fext has 551 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sms Planner E ships an update every 3 weeks, Fext every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
