# Gennec vs INKBIRD

The clearest difference is rating: Gennec at 4.6 against INKBIRD's 3.7. Gennec also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). INKBIRD's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gennec holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.5K and 6.8K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Gennec's written reviews are positive against 23% of INKBIRD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gennec ships an update every 2 months, INKBIRD fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
