# Gennec vs LetPot

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LetPot at 74% against Gennec's 22%. LetPot also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Gennec's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.2) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 65). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gennec holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gennec has 2.5K ratings behind it against 65, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Gennec's written reviews are positive against 74% of LetPot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gennec ships an update every 2 months, LetPot every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
