# Korean ー Listening・Speaking vs KoreanSSam

The clearest difference is rating: Korean ー Listening・Speaking at 4.8 against KoreanSSam's 2.3. Korean ー Listening・Speaking also leads on ratings volume (100 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). KoreanSSam's advantage is review sentiment (93% vs 81%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Korean ー Listening・Speaking sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and KoreanSSam sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Korean ー Listening・Speaking holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Korean ー Listening・Speaking has 100 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Korean ー Listening・Speaking's written reviews are positive against 93% of KoreanSSam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Korean ー Listening・Speaking ships an update fortnightly, KoreanSSam every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
