# Smart IPTV Player vs BigShow

The clearest difference is update cadence: Smart IPTV Player at weekly against BigShow's every 2 months. BigShow's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart IPTV Player sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and BigShow sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smart IPTV Player ships an update weekly, BigShow every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
