# Yoshinoya vs Funpass Plus

The clearest difference is ads: Funpass Plus at none against Yoshinoya's shown. Funpass Plus also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Yoshinoya's advantage is ratings volume (28K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Funpass Plus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yoshinoya has 28K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Yoshinoya ships an update every 2 months, Funpass Plus every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
