# Scanner App vs MojoAccess

Scanner App and MojoAccess both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of MojoAccess's written reviews are positive against 26% of Scanner App's. MojoAccess also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and ads (none vs shown). Scanner App's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 14) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scanner App sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. MojoAccess asks for nothing beyond the download.

Scanner App holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scanner App has 12K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of Scanner App's written reviews are positive against 100% of MojoAccess's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scanner App ships an update fortnightly, MojoAccess every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
