# LaView vs Paxi Smart

The clearest difference is rating: LaView at 4.7 against Paxi Smart's 3.4. LaView also leads on ratings volume (22K vs 5) and device support (4 vs 2). Paxi Smart's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 37%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LaView holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LaView has 22K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of LaView's written reviews are positive against 75% of Paxi Smart's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LaView ships an update every 3 months, Paxi Smart monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
