# Tencent Video vs Baiheverse

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Baiheverse at 100% against Tencent Video's 17%. Baiheverse also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.3) and ads (none vs shown). Tencent Video's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 3) and chart position (#81 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tencent Video sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Baiheverse sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Baiheverse holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tencent Video has 1.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 17% of Tencent Video's written reviews are positive against 100% of Baiheverse's.

Tencent Video ships an update every 2 weeks, Baiheverse fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
