# bcoach vs Scouz

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Scouz at none against bcoach's 7. Scouz also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). bcoach's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. bcoach sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Scouz asks for nothing beyond the download.

Scouz holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: bcoach has 54 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of bcoach's written reviews are positive against 50% of Scouz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

bcoach ships an update every 4 days, Scouz every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
