# Stitcher Pixel Art vs Dot Marker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Stitcher Pixel Art at 43% against Dot Marker's 0%. Stitcher Pixel Art also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). Dot Marker's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dot Marker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Stitcher Pixel Art asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dot Marker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stitcher Pixel Art has 125 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Stitcher Pixel Art's written reviews are positive against 0% of Dot Marker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stitcher Pixel Art ships an update every 3 months, Dot Marker every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
