# VendElectric vs VIA

The clearest difference is update cadence: VIA at every 2 weeks against VendElectric's every 2 months. VendElectric's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VendElectric ships an update every 2 months, VIA every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
