# Sparkle vs IMC Assistant

The clearest difference is ads: Sparkle at none against IMC Assistant's shown. Sparkle also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sparkle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and IMC Assistant sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sparkle ships an update every 3 weeks, IMC Assistant every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
