# CareConnect Mobile vs Cali K9

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Cali K9 at 100% against CareConnect Mobile's 42%. Cali K9 also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly). CareConnect Mobile's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cali K9 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $99.99 per month. CareConnect Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.

CareConnect Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CareConnect Mobile has 1.3K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of CareConnect Mobile's written reviews are positive against 100% of Cali K9's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CareConnect Mobile ships an update monthly, Cali K9 every 6 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
