# Thermex vs ApexFlight

The clearest difference is update cadence: ApexFlight at every 2 months against Thermex's every 20 months. Thermex's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Thermex ships an update every 20 months, ApexFlight every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
