# HZconnect vs USB

HZconnect and USB both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 75% of USB's written reviews are positive against 39% of HZconnect's. USB also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months). HZconnect's advantage is ratings volume (791 vs 16). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HZconnect holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HZconnect has 791 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of HZconnect's written reviews are positive against 75% of USB's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HZconnect ships an update every 7 months, USB monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
