# YJC Camera vs Perfect Stopwatch

The clearest difference is monetization model: Perfect Stopwatch at free with in-app purchases against YJC Camera's subscription. Perfect Stopwatch also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (194 vs 4). YJC Camera's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YJC Camera sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $119.99 per year and Perfect Stopwatch sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

YJC Camera holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perfect Stopwatch has 194 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of YJC Camera's written reviews are positive against 86% of Perfect Stopwatch's.

YJC Camera ships an update every 4 months, Perfect Stopwatch every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
