# Gryphon Connect vs SizeAhead

The clearest difference is rating: SizeAhead at 5.0 against Gryphon Connect's 2.9. Gryphon Connect's advantage is ratings volume (555 vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gryphon Connect sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and SizeAhead sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SizeAhead holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gryphon Connect has 555 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Gryphon Connect ships an update weekly, SizeAhead fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
