# TagChat! vs Latte

The clearest difference is rating: Latte at 4.9 against TagChat!'s 3.3. TagChat!'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Latte holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 18 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of TagChat!'s written reviews are positive against 52% of Latte's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TagChat! ships an update every 10 days, Latte every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
