# Rutgers NB vs Scoir

The clearest difference is rating: Scoir at 4.8 against Rutgers NB's 3.1. Scoir also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (6.2K vs 16). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scoir holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scoir has 6.2K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Rutgers NB's written reviews are positive against 24% of Scoir's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rutgers NB ships an update every 5 months, Scoir weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
