# AnyTask vs Purgd

The clearest difference is monetization model: AnyTask at free against Purgd's freemium. AnyTask also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (6 vs 2). Purgd's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AnyTask sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Purgd sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for AnyTask against 5.0 for Purgd. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 2 respectively.

AnyTask ships an update every 6 days, Purgd fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
