# CAFEIN vs Hidden Julles

The clearest difference is rating: CAFEIN at 4.9 against Hidden Julles's 4.0. CAFEIN also leads on ratings volume (998 vs 1). Hidden Julles's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 83%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CAFEIN holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CAFEIN has 998 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of CAFEIN's written reviews are positive against 100% of Hidden Julles's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CAFEIN ships an update every 3 months, Hidden Julles every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
