# Image Converter vs Image Size Reducer

The clearest difference is monetization model: Image Size Reducer at free with in-app purchases against Image Converter's subscription. Image Size Reducer also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 68%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Image Converter's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (9K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Image Converter sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and Image Size Reducer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Image Size Reducer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Image Converter has 9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of Image Converter's written reviews are positive against 100% of Image Size Reducer's.
