# Watchmode vs FolksMedia

The clearest difference is rating: Watchmode at 4.5 against FolksMedia's 4.1. Watchmode also leads on ratings volume (57 vs 12). FolksMedia's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 78%) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Watchmode holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 57 and 12 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Watchmode's written reviews are positive against 100% of FolksMedia's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
