# Pizza Randomizer vs The Chocolate Moose

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pizza Randomizer at 100% against The Chocolate Moose's 50%. The Chocolate Moose's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (29 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Chocolate Moose holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Chocolate Moose has 29 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Pizza Randomizer's written reviews are positive against 50% of The Chocolate Moose's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pizza Randomizer ships an update every 3 weeks, The Chocolate Moose every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
