# Fame Simulator vs kast

The clearest difference is ads: kast at none against Fame Simulator's shown. Fame Simulator's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (205 vs 7). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fame Simulator sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and kast sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
