# Pass Permit Test DMV vs Countly

The clearest difference is ads: Countly at none against Pass Permit Test DMV's shown. Countly also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.5). Pass Permit Test DMV's advantage is ratings volume (4.2K vs 169) and review sentiment (89% vs 75%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pass Permit Test DMV sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Countly sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countly holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pass Permit Test DMV has 4.2K ratings behind it against 169, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Pass Permit Test DMV's written reviews are positive against 75% of Countly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pass Permit Test DMV ships an update fortnightly, Countly every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
