# Al vs PinkCloud Timer

The clearest difference is rating: PinkCloud Timer at 4.8 against Al's 2.8. PinkCloud Timer also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks). Al's advantage is ratings volume (406 vs 4) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Al sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year and PinkCloud Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PinkCloud Timer holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Al has 406 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Al ships an update every 6 weeks, PinkCloud Timer every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
