# WebToon Reader vs KedaReader

The clearest difference is ads: KedaReader at none against WebToon Reader's shown. KedaReader also leads on ratings volume (200 vs 29). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WebToon Reader sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and KedaReader sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for WebToon Reader against 4.5 for KedaReader. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KedaReader has 200 ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 88% of WebToon Reader's written reviews are positive against 85% of KedaReader's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
