# Paradym vs Selftalk

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Selftalk at none against Paradym's 13. Selftalk also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Paradym's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (74 vs 7). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paradym sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Selftalk asks for nothing beyond the download.

Paradym holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paradym has 74 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Paradym's written reviews are positive against 60% of Selftalk's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Paradym ships an update every 3 weeks, Selftalk every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
