# 美发技术 vs COSMO

The clearest difference is update cadence: COSMO at every 2 months against 美发技术's every 8 months. 美发技术's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

美发技术 ships an update every 8 months, COSMO every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
