# MOBI Smart vs SchoolStore

The clearest difference is rating: MOBI Smart at 4.6 against SchoolStore's 3.7. MOBI Smart also leads on ratings volume (3.4K vs 3) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 9 months). SchoolStore's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 39%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MOBI Smart holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MOBI Smart has 3.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of MOBI Smart's written reviews are positive against 75% of SchoolStore's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MOBI Smart ships an update every 3 months, SchoolStore every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
