# UNKNOWN COMICS vs Icona Live

The clearest difference is rating: UNKNOWN COMICS at 4.7 against Icona Live's 3.8. UNKNOWN COMICS also leads on ratings volume (221 vs 27) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Icona Live's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 31%) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

UNKNOWN COMICS holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UNKNOWN COMICS has 221 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of UNKNOWN COMICS's written reviews are positive against 64% of Icona Live's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UNKNOWN COMICS ships an update every 5 months, Icona Live every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
