# Proofreader AI Grammar Checker vs ScatterMind

The clearest difference is update cadence: ScatterMind at every 4 days against Proofreader AI Grammar Checker's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Proofreader AI Grammar Checker sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and ScatterMind sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Proofreader AI Grammar Checker ships an update fortnightly, ScatterMind every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
