# Cowboy+ vs Global Roping

The clearest difference is rating: Global Roping at 4.2 against Cowboy+'s 2.7. Global Roping also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). Cowboy+'s advantage is ratings volume (4.2K vs 26) and review sentiment (13% vs 0%). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cowboy+ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Global Roping asks for nothing beyond the download.

Global Roping holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cowboy+ has 4.2K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Cowboy+'s written reviews are positive against 0% of Global Roping's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
