# SeeMusic vs Piano LED App

The clearest difference is rating: SeeMusic at 3.9 against Piano LED App's 3.3. SeeMusic also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (228 vs 12). Piano LED App's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and review sentiment (83% vs 63%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SeeMusic sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Piano LED App asks for nothing beyond the download.

SeeMusic holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SeeMusic has 228 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of SeeMusic's written reviews are positive against 83% of Piano LED App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SeeMusic ships an update every 3 days, Piano LED App monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
