# BeProg vs Windi Messenger

The clearest difference is rating: BeProg at 4.3 against Windi Messenger's 3.4. Windi Messenger's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 36%) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BeProg sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Windi Messenger sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $17.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BeProg holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of BeProg's written reviews are positive against 71% of Windi Messenger's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BeProg ships an update monthly, Windi Messenger weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
