# SpotiApp vs HitProxy

The clearest difference is price: HitProxy at Free against SpotiApp's $0.99. HitProxy also leads on ratings volume (425 vs 18). SpotiApp's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 3.0) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 weeks). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

HitProxy is free to download; SpotiApp costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SpotiApp holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HitProxy has 425 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of SpotiApp's written reviews are positive against 45% of HitProxy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SpotiApp ships an update every 3 days, HitProxy every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
