# Charty for Shortcuts vs ChartDay

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Charty for Shortcuts at 342 against ChartDay's 3. ChartDay's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 78%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Charty for Shortcuts sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and ChartDay sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ChartDay holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Charty for Shortcuts has 342 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 78% of Charty for Shortcuts's written reviews are positive against 100% of ChartDay's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
