# Concrete Calculator Plus vs Scale Conversion Calculator

The clearest difference is ads: Scale Conversion Calculator at none against Concrete Calculator Plus's shown. Scale Conversion Calculator also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Concrete Calculator Plus's advantage is ratings volume (26K vs 4) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Concrete Calculator Plus holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Concrete Calculator Plus has 26K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 97% of Concrete Calculator Plus's written reviews are positive against 100% of Scale Conversion Calculator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
